How To Make DIY Condom Pin Christmas Angels!

Howdy again sweet friends! I said it was coming and here they all are pouring in! Christmas posts that is… Lots of inspiration coming your mode and I am thrilled! Today I am joining Krista from The Happy Housie for Christmas crafts. Mine is a special craft to me… These trivial DIY prophylactic pin Christmas angels were something that my Grandma used to make.

She gave a set to my family that was passed downwards to me as an developed. I loved these ornaments as a trivial girl and remember playing with them over and over any time Christmas came round. Here is what you will need:

Drinking glass or plastic beads of varying sizes.
Metal Wire
Wire cutters and a pair of pliers (for twisting wires tightly)
Safe pins (size 2 work all-time for the angels shown here). I used xiii safety pins for each angel.
Wooden beads (this will be the head so you can decide how large or small you would like information technology).

Here is how you will brand these sweet angels!

Begin past adding beads to your 13 prophylactic pins. Cut two lengths of wire. I cut extra because it is e'er improve to accept more than less once you get going with projects like this. I cut one about ten inches in length and one 20 inches in length.

Take the longer sized metallic wire and thread the peak of the safety pins. You lot will not have beads in between these.

Thread both wires into the head bead.

Lastly, thread smaller beads to make the arms (I used almost eight). On one side of the arms you lot will put a middle sized bead because this is where the arms connect.

Join the arms together and twist them closed. Cutting the remainder of wire. If yous accept any twisted/cut wires that are sticking out, apply your pliers to tuck them away.

And there you accept information technology! I know this was not 1 of my easiest projects, merely it certain was special! I plan to make some more of these for my kids to savor also. We have the few we have made hanging on the tree here at present.
